Policy
Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms explain the rules for using the AcademicDude website and for any guidance, feedback or editing support you request from us. Please read them before using the site or contacting us about a request.
1. About these terms
The AcademicDude website and services are operated by Chanakya Education Services ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in Jaipur, India. You can contact us at [email protected]. Postal address: Plot No. 19, Third Baniyawali, Aanand Vihar, Renwal, Jaipur, Rajasthan 303904, India. Full provider details are in our legal notice.
By using this website, its tools or our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services. These terms should be read alongside our privacy policy and our academic integrity policy, which form part of them.
2. Nature of the service
AcademicDude provides academic guidance and writing-improvement support. Depending on what is agreed, this may include:
- explaining assignment briefs, marking criteria and feedback;
- help with planning and structuring your own work;
- feedback on drafts you have written;
- guidance on research questions, methods and chapter organisation;
- editing for language, clarity, consistency and formatting;
- guidance on referencing and citation styles.
We do not write, complete or rewrite assessed work for you to submit as your own. We do not take tests, exams or quizzes on anyone's behalf, impersonate students, fabricate data or references, or help anyone evade plagiarism or AI-detection tools. Requests of this kind will be declined, as explained in our academic integrity policy.
3. Your responsibilities as a student
You remain the author of your academic work and are responsible for what you submit. In particular, you are responsible for:
- understanding and following your institution's rules on academic integrity, proofreading, editing and the use of AI tools;
- disclosing any support you received where your institution requires it;
- checking that any edits or suggestions you accept are appropriate for your assignment and allowed under your institution's rules;
- making sure the content, arguments, data and sources in your work are your own and accurately reported.
If you are unsure whether a type of support is allowed, check with your module leader, supervisor or academic integrity office before requesting it. We may ask to see your institution's proofreading or AI policy to agree an appropriate scope.
4. Requests, quotes and scope
There is no fixed price list. When you contact us, we may ask questions to understand your request. Before any work begins, we will send you a quote that sets out:
- the scope of the support (what is and is not included);
- what you will receive;
- the timeline;
- the fee.
Work starts only after you have agreed to the quote. If you later want to add to or change the scope, we will confirm any changes, including any change to the fee or timeline, before carrying them out. We may decline any request, including one that falls outside our integrity boundaries or that we cannot deliver properly in the time available.
5. Payment and cancellation
Payment arrangements, including when payment is due and how it is made, are set out in your quote. Any cancellation or refund arrangements that apply to your request will also be confirmed in the quote or in writing before work begins. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
6. No guarantees of grades or outcomes
Our support is intended to help you understand your work and improve it. We cannot and do not guarantee:
- any grade, mark or classification;
- that a proposal, thesis, dissertation or application will be approved, passed or accepted;
- any result from plagiarism-checking or AI-detection software;
- that your institution will consider any particular kind of support acceptable.
Academic outcomes depend on your own work, your institution's criteria and the judgement of your markers.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 Your work
You keep ownership of all work you send us, including drafts, notes, data and other materials. You give us permission to use them only as needed to provide the support you have requested. We will not publish your work or use it as an example for others.
7.2 Our materials
The content of this website, including guides, tools, text, design and graphics, belongs to us or our licensors. You may read, print and use it for your own personal study. You may not copy, republish, sell or redistribute it, or present it as your own work, without our written permission.
Feedback, comments and edit suggestions we provide as part of a request are for your personal use in developing your own work.
8. Acceptable use of the website and tools

- submit other people's personal data without their permission.
The free planning tools and the chat assistant provide general guidance only. Their output may be incomplete or wrong for your situation, so check it against your course materials and your institution's guidance. Please do not enter personal data into the chat assistant.
We may suspend or restrict access to the site or tools if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.
9. Third-party services and links
This website relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, form delivery and, where enabled, an AI model provider for the chat assistant. Contact by email or WhatsApp is subject to those providers' own terms. Links to external websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Limitation of liability
We provide our website, tools and services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the extent permitted by law:
- the website and free tools are provided "as is", without any warranty that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose;
- we are not liable for any academic consequences arising from your use of our support, including any decision your institution makes about your work;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control;
- our total liability in connection with a request is limited to the amount you paid for that request.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when our services or the website change. The "Last updated" line at the top shows when they were last revised. The terms in force when you agree to a quote apply to that request.
